Based on data obtained through the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service (MLS), there were a total of 3,370  unit closings in March 2016 within the Las Vegas and Henderson areas...that's up about 802 unit closings since February 2016.  Please note that this data does not take in account, any closings outside of Las Vegas and Henderson areas such as Moapa, Pahrump, Boulder, etc.

The data reflects an Average Sales Price for February 2016 of $234,052 at $120.4 per square foot and 61 Days on the Market!

According to the data, of the 3,370 Total Closings in March 2016, 86.52% were Traditional Sales, 7.3% were REO and Foreclosure Sales and 6.2% were Short Sales:

34.78% of the units sold with Conventional Loans; FHA Buyers were a close second with 29% and CASH Buyers with 27.2% sales coming in third.  And, VA financing buyers represented 7.0% of the closings:

Current Listings available on the MLS as of 4/7/2016 at 6:24pm in the Las Vegas and Henderson areas are 8,899 (of which 772 are Short Sales and 340 are REO properties).  There are currently 7,133 contingent or pending properties on the MLS.
